About the Author

I write for children, but also for their caregivers. Children seldom tire of hearing the same story repeated over and over, so parents often find themselves reading the same books every night. My goal is to create and share stories that feel fresh and fun for both parent and child, regardless how often they are selected. 

I write in rhyme because it provides a joyful, musical, and memorable read-aloud experience for both. In addition to its positive impact on language development, rhyme is fun to read and hear. Sweet, colorful illustrations paired with messages to which both child and caregiver can relate provide a wonderful bonding experience during read-aloud moments. 

Most, if not all, parents I know would agree that reading aloud with a young child is one of parenting's sweetest experiences. I hope you are able to spend many happy moments reading these books together.
